All have lost their mothers under different circumstances: mother hit by a car or killed by a dog, duckling found alone in a window well or a swimming pool, etc. Many injured adult ducks also need our help.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo be able to continue helping as many orphaned ducklings as possible, we need your support as we receive NO government aid. In fact, each duckling costs us $110 to rehabilitate, but we offer you the chance to become a sponsor for $50. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy agreeing to sponsor a duckling, here's what you'll receive: \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\n\u003cli\u003eYou can \u003cstrong\u003echoose your duckling's name\u003c\/strong\u003e;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\n\u003cli\u003eyou will receive a magnificent \u003cstrong\u003esponsorship certificate\u003c\/strong\u003e (by email) with your duckling's name and your name (see photo);\u003c\/li\u003e\n\n\u003cli\u003ewhen the ducklings arrive this summer, we will create a sponsors' group on Facebook where we will post arrivals of ducklings\/ducks and \u003cstrong\u003eintroduce you to your duckling\u003c\/strong\u003e. Each animal will be identified with a numbered band and will be part of the same group throughout its stay at the shelter.
