Although we don't specialize in birds of prey, we receive many of them now. Among these, each year, there are a few bald eagles in distress. They all have stories sadder than the last. The one in the photo was found caught in a trap, was transferred to the specialized bird of prey sanctuary in Saint-Hyacinthe, the Union québécoise de réhabilitation des oiseaux de proie du Québec. And the good news is that, despite its mishap, it was released. What an extraordinary bird, isn't it? We are very proud to be able to help them when they are in distress.
