Although we do not specialize in birds of prey, we receive many of them now. Among these, every year, there are a few bald eagles in distress. They all have stories sadder than the last. The one in the photo was found caught in a trap, transferred to the specialized bird of prey refuge in Saint-Hyacinthe, the Union québécoise de réhabilitation des oiseaux de proie du Québec. And the good news is that, despite its mishap, it was released. What an extraordinary bird, isn't it? We are very proud to be able to help them when they are in distress.
