It is now finally possible to cuddle a plush toy representing an animal you love, while respecting wildlife that should not be tamed and contributing to its well-being. When you purchase one of our plush toys, you help us save lives. It’s also an opportunity to make the person you give it to aware of the importance of wild animals in our forests. Squirrels contribute to their growth. Every time they hide food reserves in the ground, they tend to forget their hiding places, hence their role as tree planters!

Lucie arrived at the shelter after being bitten by a cat. Unfortunately, this is one of the main causes of small rodent admissions to the shelter. Free-roaming cats have a considerable impact on wildlife, which is why it is essential to keep them indoors. Luckily, Lucie was very fortunate. Thanks to good care and a period of convalescence, she was able to regain her freedom. She continues, to this day, to plant many trees in our forests.

Since the shelter opened, we have helped over 350 orphaned and/or injured squirrels.
