Martin the duck was brought to the sanctuary after a dog bite. He was in bad shape. Luckily someone noticed and brought him to us. We had to stitch him up and monitor his condition very closely. These treatments and his will to live ensured that his wound closed and healed very well. After a few weeks of convalescence, he was able to regain his freedom in a quiet pond with several other ducks. We hope he will start a large family.
