Popcorn inherited his name because his fall was cushioned by a bag of corn, in which he was found. Popcorn arrived at the shelter in great distress since raccoons spend the first year of their lives with their mother and develop many bonds with her. Upon arrival, some refuse to eat, lose all their fur, or cry for days. We carefully choose a plush toy that will act as a substitute with which they will develop a strong attachment. Fortunately, Popcorn is a warrior and clung to life. He regained his freedom after 1 year of rehabilitation with us.
