It is finally possible to cuddle a plush toy representing an animal you love, while respecting wildlife that should not be tamed and contributing to its well-being. With the purchase of one of our plush toys, you help us save lives. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness in the person to whom you offer it about the importance of wild animals in our forests. Foxes help control the populations of their main food sources, such as rodents and hares. They can also disperse seeds by eating fruit.
Nathaniel was rescued at the sanctuary after being found alone on the side of the road with a paw injury. We feared for some time that he would not be able to walk again, following a possible nerve section in his paw. Fortunately, with good convalescence and a lot of physiotherapy, he regained the use of his paw. Nathaniel was released in 2020 and now frolics in our beautiful province. A great success!
Since the opening of the sanctuary, we have helped about thirty orphaned and/or injured foxes.
